For one, you don’t need to question if you’re insane. You know the answer to that question.
It’s been two months. Pretty much all I’m doing is talking to myself, but I suppose I’ll keep this running, just in case someone comes by.
Midterms were … halfway decent. School and work taking up 6 of 7 days, with extracurriculars on the seventh, is bothering me a lot. A very large amount.
I’m looking for an internship in the Chicago area, preferably with a programming company but really with anything. I’ll be able to learn SQL in the space of weeks but don’t know it at the moment. Any ideas?
One other thing: I finished the story, but haven’t had time to type it out. Summer should be frenetic.

It’s mildly scary, called midterms. I’ve got these. Then again, it should be fine, as long as I study. Which I will. Right? Right. Hopefully. I mean, yes. Positive reinforcement.
Story: is here: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2479447/1/Night_of_the_Mind
[that’s what I was writing before. I’ve paused it for a bit, got lots of shit to do.]
Tomorrow I will be playing Magic: the Gathering [FNM], and in particular this decklist:
4 Oona’s Blackguard
4 Looter Il-Kor
4 Nightshade Stinger
2 Prickly Boggart
4 Stinkdrinker Bandit
4 Latchkey Faerie
3 Pestermite
4 Frogtosser Banneret
2 Cloak and Dagger
4 Notorious Throng
3 Morsel Theft
2 Pendelhaven
1 River of Tears
9 Island
10 Swamp
I don’t have duals. I might run Reveillark, too … I have the deck. We’ll see.
I’m also buying Portal later today. Or tomorrow. Or … ah, hell, I’ll go do it now. I need that game, so badly, I can’t even describe.

Writing about two~three hours a day, now, if you count transcribing. Two thousand words in three hours. I’m writing a convoluted sci-fi story [I don’t know if it’s bad anymore, that’s what I used to preface it with, but it’s definitely convoluted, now], and hopefully I finish and can pretend that that’s what I’ve been writing for the last six months instead of my failed novella.

MONSTER!!!!!!
Sun-Times headline for yesterday, the word ‘monster’ about 20 times larger than the rest of it. Thanks a lot, Sun-Times, for having about as much journalistic integrity as a dead fish.
Also: writing new story, looks like the other one will have to be scuttled, or something, or … really, I don’t know, I’m just writing a new story.

Go party; beware of large mosquitoes, traveling in pairs.
Seriously, though. Having just bought the CD, it’s good. But not great. And not horrible. I can see the seeds of greatness, but there’s just a big gap there. If the CD was … harder, it would have it, but it’s just really light and airy right now, too much of both in my humble opinion.

I overslept: it’s freezing here in Chicago, and the class is an elective 1-hour thing that you can take or not take. So I got angry at it for being far away in the freezing cold, and as the day of taking it drew nearer, decided: Nah. I have a hectic enough schedule. So i didn’t wake up, it was 12, I told my parents about it so they were angry, and now I’m apparently going to have a group therapy session so my parents can find out what part of my brain is driving me insane to not be perfect. It’s part of the human condition, though, not being perfect.

I need to move out. Badly.

Get up at 10 after staying up until 5 the day before. Get to school precisely at 11:00AM, in time for English 101.
Sleep for 80 minutes, while somehow keepin eyes open/pretending to be interested.
Eat food, immediately play basketball. Stop at 1:50.
Somehow find Psychology class at 2:00. Proceed to feel bad about how you look/smell/feel, as small clumps of sweat/dust fall off. Class ends at 3:20. Stay at Wright because walking hope takes effort, eat candy, type on things [including this very blog!], do a very little preperation for …
Class at 6:00. Leave to go home at 7:20-ish, get home at around 8, do random stuff before sleeping, wonder why the book’s not finished yet [it’s always about the book …], wonder why there isn’t a blog post yet [fix it?], sleep.
I wish this had all happened already. … Impatience.

I walk up to the train at O’Hare, to catch it and go home, but as I’m walking it starts to pull away. It starts, stops, starts, stops. The door opens, but only one, people jam in, it doesn’t look like there’s room - is there room? As I go to find out, the doors close, and the train pulls away with me about 4 inches from the door. So I wait - it won’t be so bad, and the next train leaves 15 minutes from there. The train announces it’s going to open on the right hand side for my stop, but I’m sitting backwards. So when it stops, I look over to my right, and notice that the door hasn’t opened, and relax back. The train waits for about 20 seconds - obviously it’s stopped for something, so I ask the person sitting in front of me to get out of the way just fast enough to see us leaving the stop. We go two more stops, and I get off at Irving Park to take the bus. I catch it after standing inside [did I mention it’s freezing outside?], and we go about 2 miles before I realize that it’s actually going in the wrong direction. I then have to wait at the bus stop going the other way for 20 minutes, finally catching the bus and getting home. I arrived at around 12.

Oh, this is so much easier than randomly typing it up in HTML.
So much easier.
I will link to this from now on in blog-related matters.
